Account Manager / New Business Development

Are you currently in a client service role and are super talented, have relevant experience and want to work at an amazing Company then keep reading!" About the Role:We are looking for a dedicated and passionate professional with at least 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in the IT sector.
 You will focus on meeting potential new customers and gaining trust and deriving business from them, generating new business leads and opportunities, and developing existing accounts.
 Dial a Nerd has a successful lead generation strategy and you will need to maximise the ROI by meeting these leads and closing deals.
 The approximate blend of work is 80% New Business and 20% Account Management.Your main role is to meet/exceed your allocated sales target and to generate revenue by identifying sales opportunities, pitching products and services to new clients and maintaining a good working relationship with new customers.Roles and responsibilities:Primary roles and responsibilities: High closure rate on monthly pipeline commitmentsConsistently achieving monthly sales target and above year-to-date targets  Secondary roles and responsibilities: Identifying new sales opportunitiesPitching products and/or servicesA typical day at Dial a Nerd:Researching organizations and individuals online to identify new leads and potential new market opportunities.The new business developer is required to have a minimum of 4 Teams or 2 Face-to-Face meetings per day with clients (at least 40 - 80 meetings per month).Researching the needs of companies and the relevant decision-makers.Contacting potential clients via phone and email to establish rapport and set up appointments.Achieve Work rate and KPI Goals.Bring a minimum of 2 referrals per day.Grow Pipeline.Attending all relevant training, customer and internal meetings.The actual selling: Preparing presentations and product pitches.Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company's products/ services.Developing quotes and proposals.Negotiating and renegotiating in person, by phone and email.Skills and abilities:To be an effective new business developer, an individual must be:Socially adeptConfidentBe able to handle a lot of rejection and bounce backStrong communication and telecommunication fluencyIn-depth knowledge of the information technology industry and its current eventsAttention to detailExcellent time management and organizationClosing skillsExtremely strong work ethicProspecting skillsHigh professionalismNegotiation skillsThe ability to succeed in a high-performance environment and meet deadlinesAbout us:Dial a Nerd is not just a technology company, we're a business of exceptional people.... all about culture and excellence, bringing the best, delivering unprecedented customer service.Dial a Nerd believes in SIMPLIFYING TECHNOLOGY.
