Sales / Account ManagerOur client in an insights lead BTL marketing agency prides itself on creating world-class shopping experiences for world-class brands. They have an amazing opportunity for a hands-on, customer-centric, target-driven Sales / Account Manager, who has a passion for delivering customer delight and growing an existing client base. This role will report into a Senior Account Manager and assist with fostering relationships and growing an existing portfolio of accounts.The successful candidate must be able to sell and will come with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and building lasting relationships. This candidate must understand complex selling in the B2B environment and be agile in adapting to the many obstacles that could stall a deal and find solutions around that. They must be customer-focused and deadline-driven to achieve set targets.Key accountabilities:Excellence in account management and customer serviceOpportunity identificationStakeholder managementCreating and managing briefs from concept to completionPerformance Reporting (commercial)Achievement of sales target, managing net revenue and resultsCollaborate and work effectively cross-functionally on each project to deliver the best outcomeTake ownership of assigned accounts/channels and show sales growth in those accountsRequirements:B.Comm/Business Science degree or any related Tertiary Business qualification in Sales & Marketing3-5 years selling experience B2B in an Account Management and business development role managing blue-chip accountsExperience in team dynamics (has worked as part of team environment / cross-functional teams)Understanding of and ability to conduct market research (landscape, clients, competitors)Excellent verbal and written communicationComfortable presenting to senior managementHighly competent in MS Office / G Suite applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Experience in working with CRM systemsUnderstanding the world of BTL agency and (preferably) in-store / Point of Sale / display selling (advantageous)Analytical, organized and comfortable with managing tasks and process adherenceStrong with administration within the sales process and customer managementA firm understanding of commerceCore competencies:Outcome-oriented, consistent and methodicalA strong people person who is a clear and effective communicatorTarget-driven and performance-oriented - owns targets and KPIs and is motivated by themA resilient, self-starter with a positive mindset who sees what is possibleGood EQ (able to listen and aware of self in situations)Curiosity (looks beyond the obvious)Critical thinking (willing to challenge where necessary & appropriate)Creative problem solver with good abstract reasoningCommercially savvyClear and effective communicatorGo-getter, detailed and meticulousSalary: R360,000 - R480,000 annual (TCTC) Excludes incentives/Commission
