Job Title: Account Manager Location: Blackheath, Cape Town Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Primary Industry: Manufacturing and Production - Rentals Department Job Duties: Manage and develop relationships with assigned key accounts Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise profits Achieve agreed sales targets and profitability Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction Provide after sales service Conduct market and competitor analysis Achieve agreed customer visits Prepare reports on account status and sales forecasts Assist accounts personnel with debt collection Accurate and timely loading of rental orders on the ERP system Required Qualifications: Proven work experience as an Account Manager or relevant role Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills Education: Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business Administration, or relevant field Experience, Knowledge and Skills: Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management or sales Experience working in the manufacturing industry Knowledge of market trends and competitors Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time effectively Report writing Valid driver's license Working Conditions: Office-based role with frequent travel to meet clients Full-Time hours, Monday to Friday  Fast-paced environment requiring flexibility and adaptability
