Tasks In this role, your responsibilities and duties may include:
Monthly evaluation of portfolio development together with Manager Account Steering. Identifying new revenue potential in existing portfolio and act as a real sales entrepreneur in developing and implementing new products in order to stimulate further revenue growth. Initiate, organize & carry out sales promotion activities as well as incentive and ad hoc deals. Documentation of sales visits in the LH / LH Group sales tools. In close collaboration with the account management, weekly planning and optimization of customer visits / calls based on revenue performance and future trends identified by and with relevant GP/GG units. Negotiate contracts with existing corporate accounts, agents & TMCs with clear focus on revenue quality and growth of business. * Participate in other duties as assigned. Requirements The ideal Account Manager / Account Steering Expert should meet the following requirements:
High school certificate, A level/ Abitur or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree desired. Professional experience in local travel market and the local economy required. Fluency in English language required. German language desirable. Excellent knowledge of customary MS office products. Must possess permit to work in South Africa. Must possess a valid driver's license. Strong analytical skills. Strong entrepreneurial / commercial mindset. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) / Interpersonal skills. Excellent professional and confident manner. Must have the ability to work under time pressure, work overtime / outside office hours and travel on behalf of the Company. Assessment may be required. * CV/Resume and Cover letter required. * Company will not provide relocation assistance.
