Account Manager (24Month Ftc)

To manage key accounts on a cradle to grave basis including assessing funding applications, technical assessments and ongoing monitoring and evaluation.
The clientele exists within the Civil Society sector being purpose driven organisation.
The incumbent should also assist in raising capital for the programme. 
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum qualification: relevant commercial or technical honours degreeCA (SA) / MBA preferredKNOWLEDGE EXPERIENCE: 5-7 years related experience of which 4 years should be in deal assessment as well as closing of transactionsKnowledge of the civil society sectorKnowledge in assessing all associated issues in a transaction (Legal, risks, etc.
)Experience in interpretation and analysis of financial statementsCompetent in coaching and mentoring of team members.Financial / Shareholder Returns Ensure financial soundness of all credit submissions.Internal / Operational Processes Evaluate applications for fundingDesigning and negotiating the financial and legal relationship between the client and for the specific deal.Risk identification and mitigationDeal optimization - ensuring that the deal is aligned with the strategic objectives of theDepartment and will contribute to meeting industry development goalsPrepare well written and motivated reports for presentation to the relevant Panel and other Panel as required.Training, mentoring and coaching of Account ManagersCustomer Focus Stakeholder Management To effectively interact with internal departments SBUs and departments in order to fulfil the process requirements related to any specific deal / transaction.Manage and enhance the levels of service and communication to ensure the provision of client service excellence.Learning, Leadership People Growth Provide team leadership in transactions during due diligenceManage own development to enhance own competenciesParticipate in knowledge sharing in the team and cross functionalCoaching and mentoring of team membersTECHNICAL/FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES: Experience with MEExposure to the NGO sectorFinancial acumenRisk identification and mitigationInvestment/Portfolio ManagementStakeholder Management and customer focusPlanning and organisingReport writing skills BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES Presentation and communication skillsNegotiation skillsRelationship Building and Networking skillsPersuading and Influencing skillsCoaching and MentoringLeading and Co-ordinating
