To develop and maintain good working relationships with the rest of the business.Duties:Book of business/SalesResponsible for Book of business which includes growth (organic, new business, upselling, cross selling), maintenance and retentionRegular client interactions and documented outcomes/discussionProvide good advice to clients and explain policies in order to protect their assets and protect them against financial lossMeeting FAIS requirements in terms of documentation and client record of adviceQuotesAssist with Claims and Technical brokingAssist and support on rate and insurer negotiationsRenewalsEndorsementsManage unpaid premium process Risk ManagementUp to date knowledge of changes in the insurance industry Compliance knowledge, champion and ensure adherence to all procedures and FAIS requirementsManage clients effectively to avoid exposing the business to risk and incurring Professional Indemnity claims Claims and Technical BrokingTake overall accountability for claims on all clientsWork with the Claims team on all relevant claimsAssist the Technical Broker where requested to ensure that procedures, policies and documents are completedProvide clear instructions and complete information to the Technical BrokerGuide client through the Risk Survey Requirements/Improvements process and assist Technical Broker where requiredRequired Qualifications & ExperienceNQF4 Non-Life (Short Term Insurance)RE5NQF5Relevant degree preferredRelevant FAIS credits (120 credits) preferred5 years related experience with some Technical Broking experience preferred.
