Account Executive Business Lending and Working Capital Are you experienced in business banking and looking for a dynamic role in a smaller, fast-paced lending environment? We are seeking a talented Account Executive with expertise in business lending and working capital solutions . This is not your typical banking role ideal candidates will have a background outside of traditional relationship banking in large conventional banks, with a focus on origination and relationship management in a smaller, more entrepreneurial setting. Key Responsibilities: New Business Origination: Develop and execute a strategy to attract and onboard new business clients, ensuring financial targets are met. Relationship Management: Be the primary point of contact for clients, offering continuous support and ensuring their needs are met throughout the business cycle. Sales Strategy: Work closely with Senior Management to craft and implement a sales plan that aligns with company goals, driving new revenue while maintaining high engagement with both prospective and existing clients. Networking: Build and maintain strong internal and external networks to generate a consistent pipeline of new business opportunities and enhance visibility for the business in the marketplace. Business Expertise: Use your deep knowledge of various industries to deliver tailored solutions that meet the financial needs of our business clients, while maintaining strong credit risk management. End-to-End Client Management: Own the client application process from inception through completion, including assessing financials and preparing credit applications for new deals and reviews. Credit Risk Management: Actively manage credit risk by overseeing excesses, unpaid bills, and other risks, ensuring compliance with internal policies. Revenue Growth: Be accountable for hitting sales and revenue targets, contributing to the success of the Business Finance division. Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to cross-sell the banks wide range of products and services to business clients. Market Insight: Stay informed on market trends and economic conditions, using this knowledge to inform client strategies and internal discussions. Client Presentations: Deliver presentations to clients and stakeholders to enhance business opportunities and relationships. What Were Looking For: Proven experience in business banking , specifically within a working capital/lending environment. Background in a smaller lending business , not a career banker from conventional banks. Strong skills in new business generation and relationship management . Experience in credit risk management and the ability to handle the full lifecycle of the client application process.
