We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Account Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in managing high-profile clients across both consumer and business sectors. A deep understanding of the hospitality industry would be a significant advantage. This role demands a creative and results-driven individual who can develop and execute impactful PR campaigns that generate measurable results. You will be responsible for building strong client relationships, driving positive media coverage, and contributing to the overall growth of the agency. Responsibilities:Strategic leadership: Develop and oversee the execution of sophisticated, high-impact PR strategies that align with client business objectives and achieve measurable results across Sub-Saharan Africa. Client management: Serve as the primary point of contact for high-profile clients, ensuring exceptional service and exceeding client expectations through proactive management and strategic counsel. Team oversight: Lead and mentor account teams, ensuring cohesive and efficient campaign execution while fostering professional growth and development within the team. Media relations: Cultivate and leverage robust relationships with key media contacts and industry influencers to secure high-visibility coverage and drive client success. Campaign execution: Oversee the creation and implementation of innovative PR campaigns, including crisis management, reputation enhancement, and media outreach, tailored to the unique needs of each prestigious client. Performance analysis: Monitor, analyse, and report on campaign performance and media coverage, providing actionable insights and recommendations to optimise strategies and drive results. Requirements:Experience: Minimum of 7 years in PR, with a strong background in managing high-profile accounts across both consumer and business sectors. Extensive experience in high-pressure environments is essential. Proven success: Demonstrated success in developing and executing successful PR strategies that deliver substantial, measurable results for prestigious clients. Communication skills: Superior written and verbal communication skills with a talent for crafting compelling narratives and strategic messaging. Organisational skills: Exceptional organisational and time management abilities with a proven capability to manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously. Adaptability: Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, adeptly managing changing priorities and emerging challenges. Problem-solving: Must possess strong analytical skills to identify issues, develop creative solutions, and implement them efficiently. Resourcefulness: Should be able to find innovative ways to overcome challenges and achieve goals with limited resources. Decision-making: Exhibit good judgement and the ability to make timely decisions, even in high-pressure situations.
