Finance - Credit Manager The Credit Manager is responsible for all of the accounts receivable functions, including compiling, preparing, sending and following up on invoices for group & catering functions, guestrooms, intercompany, and third party billing. Additional responsibilities include responding to guest billing inquiries, processing payment & refunds, monitoring & responding to chargebacks, and various other finance duties. Supports the Finance team by preparing and running the monthly credit meeting, balance sheet reconciliations, month end closing, and may prepare some journal entries.
What you will be doing: Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging serviceSupervise the daily activities of the Credit department and ensure all standards are followedEnsure all procedures regarding billing, collections, credit cards, billing inquiries, and check cashing are followedEnsure local credit policies are followedReview all requests for credit and approve as appropriate according to the credit policiesPost & send invoices for intercompany & third party billing (Residences, PSAV, etc.)Monitor & adjust Accor Live Limitless (ALL) loyalty points used as paymentMonitors, posts, and applies wire and check payments as applicableTracks, updates, and applies group depositsPrepares and distributes group & catering invoicesMonitors attrition and cancellation postingsMonitors and responds to chargebacks.Tracks chargebacks won/lost and reports to the Credit Manager about trendsRegularly follows up on the collection of all accounts receivablePrepare bad debt write offs, and then post in Opera upon final approvalsPrepare and hold a monthly credit meeting.May prepare some month end journal entriesPerform other various related tasks as requested by Finance Leadership.Your experience and skills include: Previous Leadership experience in Accounts Receivable is requiredUnderstanding of Accounting principles, and competency in Opera and GFSFour year college degree or equivalent work experienceStrong verbal and written communication skillsMust be highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyMust have flexible schedule and be able to work various hours and days when neededTo maintain good working relations with colleagues and other departmentsMust work in a safe, prudent, and organized mannerConduct self in a professional manner at all times to reflect the high standards of the CompanyWhat is in it for you: Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 USDDiscounted hotel rooms and food & beverage rates to employees at our sister properties around the globe.We provide learning programs through our Academies to promote growth and development so that you can perform at your full potentialOpportunity to develop your talent and grow within your property and across the world!Ability to make a difference through our Corporate Social Responsibility activities, like Planet 21 and WATCHCompetitive Health Benefit Package within 30 days of employment401(k)/Roth IRA Eligibility after 60 days of employmentCell Phone Usage ReimbursementWhy work for Accor?
