Eduvos is looking to hire the services of a Academic Programme Manager for our BSc IT and BSc Computer Science programmes on a permanent basis. The preferred candidate will report either to our Tygervalley campus or our Mowbray campus and oversee our Midrand, Nelson Mandela Bay , East London and Bloemfontein campuses.

The Position:
To manage the design and delivery of our BSc IT and BSc Computer Science qualifications within the Information Technology faculty across multiple campuses
Minimum Requirements
Education/ Qualifications:
Master's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computing, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
A relevant Doctoral degree is preferred.
Experience:
At least five years' post-qualification experience in an academic role
At least three years' management experience
Experience in development of curriculum, including assessments
Duties and Responsibilities
Accountable for the design and the delivery of one or more programmes in a Faculty
Sales enablement – provide product information and training (part of implementation design)
Strategy implementation through operational plans, objectives and schedules
Strategy implementation through monitoring, control and corrective action
Reporting
Workflow / alignment / silos – cross boundary alignment
Escalations / Decisions / Problem solving (escalate query resolution)
Resourcing and capacity management (people; equipment; facilities) Resourcing (annually) for product development
Input into operational efficiency - processes & governance / systems / standards / compliance / methodologies
Contribute to the research and development of new programmes (qualifications) (identify gaps / design new curriculum / guide and monitor quality of development / submit to ABM & senate / entrance requirements including RPL's and CAT's)
Review current products / curriculums / accreditations from professional bodies
Talent acquisition, selection, onboarding and succession / bench strength
Individual performance - role clarity and objectives; reviews; feedback; corrective actions
Skill levels - training & development
Participate in Advisory Boards and accreditation / professional bodies
Liaise with accreditation / professional bodie
