RequirementsB Comm (Accounting) or any other similar qualificationCompleted articles.3 years post articles experience as per the job requirements.Xero Accounting software knowledgeMS Office, especially MS Excell.Fair knowledge of SAIT, VAT on exports and imports.FX knowledge.Be able to communicate fluently with Stakeholders.Drivers license and own transportation.Above average organizational and time management skillsDuties include:Financial Accounting Ensure that complete, accurate and valid financial information is timeously produced to enable Role players to take timeous effective decisions that affect the future of the business.Adhere to basic accounting principles inline with IFRS with reference to reporting of results at both month and year end.Ensure that the financial risks are limited to an absolute minimum by enhancing the current internal control procedures.Ensure proper reconciliation of all related accounts and balances and take timeous corrective action to identify any exposures.Ensure that proper controls are in place to identify and report Debtors risk well in advance.Effective use of tax related benefits and allowances as allowed by SARS.Ensure that external reporting to authorities is adhered to.Management AccountingDraft annual budgets and interim forecasts and issue Management Accounts on a monthly basis.Report monthly to Senior Management and other Stakeholders on the performance of the business and future expectations.Detailed cash flow forecasts and analysis of cash requirements.Buy or rent analysis for business needs and expansions.Detailed analysis of costing and pricing of products and recommendations of changes to current pricing models.Stock controls Management SupportEmail CV ASAP.
