Abattoir General Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

Hygiene and cleaning of the slaughtering area, cool rooms, skin shed and outer area of complexThe care and maintenance of all plant and equipment, abattoir buildings and surroundsStock control and storage of all products utilised in abattoir productionManage animals before and during the slaughtering processTrim, bone and slice carcasses so they are ready for sale or further processing
Requirements:

Relevant training and experienceMinimum 3 years experience in Management roleRelevant certificates and qualifications
