Ab Initio Developer

Job Title: Ab Initio Developer Location: Gauteng, Johannesburg Metro, Johannesburg Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: IT and Internet Salary: ZAR0 - ZAR0 Per hour Job Duties: Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using Ab Initio software Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the ETL process Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processing Optimise and tune ETL processes for performance and efficiency Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Proven experience working with Ab Initio software Strong understanding of ETL concepts and best practises Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing ETL processes using Ab Initio software Knowledge and Skills: Proficiency in Ab Initio GDE (Graphical Development Environment) Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and methodologies Strong SQL and scripting skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Preferred Qualifications: Ab Initio certification Experience with data modelling and data profiling Familiarity with Agile development methodologies Working Conditions: This role operates in a typical office environment.
The Ab Initio Developer may be required to work on-site or remotely depending on project requirements.
Regular hours are expected with the possibility of additional hours to meet project deadlines.
