Minimum Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Media & Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or relevant field. Relevant Post Graduate qualification would be a definite advantage. Minimum 5 to 8 years' experience within a large multinational organisation. Responsibilities (KPAs): Public Relations Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive public relations and communications strategies to enhance the Group's public image. Manage media relations, including cultivating relationships with Journalists and media outlets. Manage agency support effectively to deliver engaging content and positive stories across various platforms. Draft press releases, speeches, and other communications materials. Research and develop messages on key topics for communication activities. Internal and External Communications: Oversee internal communications to ensure consistency in messaging and alignment with the Group's goals. Develop and co-ordinate the delivery of the annual internal communication plan. Drive, implement and co-ordinate campaigns that inspire, engage and inform employees. Manage external communications channels such as social media, newsletters, and company website content. Government and Regulatory Affairs: Monitor legislative and regulatory developments. Develop advocacy strategies and engage with government officials and regulatory bodies. Ensure good governance of communication systems and processes. Uphold corporate identity, ensuring Group templates are used. Support and leverage Group initiatives and effective co-ordinate with Group team. Crisis Management: Serve as a spokesperson during crises or sensitive issues, ensuring timely and effective communication. Event Management: Plan and execute events, conferences and other public engagements. Budget and Resource Management: Manage budgets related to communications and public affairs activities.
