Job Summary:Mid-Senior level Data Engineer position. Must have expertise in Databricks, cloud solutions, SQL, and data architecture. Strong skills in automation and remote teamwork required.Responsibilities:Collaborate with clients and teams to define data processing solution requirements.Develop and maintain highly available data pipelines and storage solutions in the cloud (e.g., data warehouses, data lakes).Deliver solutions using agile practices.Oversee the successful delivery of projects.Mentor client and internal team members to enhance their data capabilities.Drive improvements in team and client data proficiency.Skills:Proficiency in architecting and delivering cloud solutions in Databricks, AWS, and/or Azure.Advanced programming skills in SQL.Strong experience in data modeling.Hands-on experience with various relational databases, data warehouses, and distributed file systems in production.Experience with large-scale data processing and optimizing solutions for performance as well as cost efficiency.Proficient in working with source control solutions such as GitHub, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, etc.Ability to support data scientists and BI teams in data preparation and mentorship.Qualifications:Appropriate degree or diploma at a reputable institution.Work Location:Remote ContractType:Full-Time Independent Contractor Work
