Duties and Responsibility include but not limited:Coordinating orders from the passCheck plating and garnishing is up to standardEnsure food is correct as per order placedManage stock including stock counts, stock rotation, portion, wastage and spoilage controlCreate a harmonious environment between FOH and BOHAssisting the Executive chef with menu development, costingWorking within line to budget requirements and cost of salesManaging the kitchen in the absence for the Sous Chef Any other duties as required by the Sous Chef Qualifications:MatricCertificate in hospitality and / or culinary artsFluent in English & AfrikaansComputer literateMicros/SAP POS will be advantageous 2 years in a similar role Competencies:Leadership skillsExcellent communicationMotivatedTeam playerFinancial acumenorganizedAbility to multi-taskinnovative with problem solving skills
