26875 - Assistant Farmer - Broilers (Rainbow Chicken)

Rainbow Chickens (Western Cape Agriculture) is looking for Assistant Farmer to assist the Farmerin managing the operations, resources and manpower of a site thereby ensuring the optimal number of the right quality birds at the right time and at the lowest cost. The incumbent will alsotake full responsibility of the site when the Farmeris not on site.
Required Qualifications: Minimum Grade 12; Tertiary qualification will be an advantagePhysically fit with no allergies to bird feathers and dustRequired Experience: 3 years' experience in the Poultry environment with 1 year experience/exposure in a supervisory capacityRequired Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge:Understand basic poultry nutrition, growth, anatomy and reproduction
