Our client a leading engineering firm that prides themselves on delivering high-quality engineering solutions.This role requires a hands-on approach and understanding of mechanical engineering principles.Design and Engineering:- Develop detailed mechanical designs and specifications of processing equipment and facilities.- Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and analysis to validate design choices.- Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.- Collaborate with the design team to create detailed drawings and documentation formanufacturing and installation.- Proven Experience with the following is necessary:? Sheet Metal Design? Structural Design? General Factory/Plant Layout Drawings- Proven Experience within the following would be advantageous:? Machine Design? Finite Element Analysis (FEA)Fabrication Oversight:- Oversee the fabrication process, ensuring that all components meet design specifications and quality standards.- Work closely with the manufacturing team to address any technical challenges that arise during fabrication.- Inspect and approve finished products before they are delivered to the installation site.Site Installation and Commissioning:- Collaborate with installation teams to manage on-site installation activities, ensuring that all mechanical systems are installed correctly and safely.- Coordinate with site installers to troubleshoot any issues that arise during installation.- Conduct commissioning activities to verify the performance of installed systems and ensure they meet project requirements. Minimum requirements:- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.- A minimum of 3 years experience in mechanical engineering.- Proven experience in the design and installation of industrial equipment or processing facilities.- Strong knowledge of mechanical design software:? Primary Software: SolidWorks? Secondary Software: AutoCAD- Strong problem-solving abilities and a hands-on approach to engineering challenges.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.- Willingness to travel to Local and International project sites as needed.- Experience in the food processing or agricultural industry is required.- Knowledge of fabrication processes and materials.- Experience with project management software such as ClickUp, MS Project, or similar.- A supportive and collaborative work environment.
