We have an exciting opportunity for 2 Rope Access Level 1 Technicians within our Once-Off Team in KZN. Rope Access training will be provided in line with the company's training agreement.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure operational efficiency with the implementation of the appropriate standards of safety and quality control in rope access activities, according to Ecowize standards.
Responsible for all cleaning services for clients e.g. silo cleaning, window washing, and other cleaning services where working at heights are required.
Responsible for all specialised cleaning services for clients e.g. decontamination, broiler cleaning and any specialised industrial cleaning required.
Maintain a good working relationship with the client and team.
Maintain the rope access equipment ensuring that the certification is kept up to date.
Responsible for all equipment and the cleaning of equipment, also ensure that nothing is missing when requested to work on site.
Attend client meetings during the task planning or organizing period.
Ensure quality standards are maintained so that the quality of service meets the necessary standards.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be medically and physically fit to work at heights.
Previous work experience in the food industry is essential.
Must be willing to work flexible hours.
Ability to communicate in English.
The successful incumbent must have the following skillsets:
Must be service-oriented.
Problem solving skills.
Ability to execute jobs according to the client and Ecowize standards.
Good planning and time management skills.
Good knowledge of the cleaning industry.
Must have a strong preference to work with the Ecowize culture and values.
