2X Project Manager (3 Months)

Our client, an entity that manages and operates passenger rail services in South Africa is seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead and oversee their IT/ICT projects.
This role is pivotal in ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, meet business goals, and adhere to the ICT Project Management Framework.
Key Responsibilities Developing project plans, goals, and budgets; identifying resources needed Project Monitoring and Control throughout the project lifecycle Ensure alignment of Project Execution to the Project Management Framework Developing and managing the Project Schedule to track project progress, risks  associated with timelines, task dependencies and scope Guiding and performing strategic analysis for the project Organising and managing all phases of the project to ensure on-time completion.
Assembling and coordinating project team members and assigning individual responsibilities Regular project progress and status reporting Preparing requests for proposals and conducting all necessary meetings to facilitate  selection of project services and products.
Planning and overseeing the preparation and dissemination of project communications Project Stakeholder Management and relations Proactive escalation of matters that require Executive or Senior Management intervention Requirements 5+ years of experience in Project Management in IT/ICT Experience in use case development and test case development.
Experience facilitating workshops with technical and non-technical resources to document functional and nonfunctional solution requirements.
Management, organisational and people skill Strong leadership skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Assertive and confident Strong Stakeholder Relationship Management Working knowledge of MS Project Must-have Skills and experience (MINIMUM REQUIREMENT) - Minimum – Matric / Grade 12 - Minimum 3-year post matric tertiary qualification (Degree/Diploma) - Project Management qualification (Prince 2 / PMBOK certification in Project    Management) - Post-graduate, PMP and/or Agile certification would be an added advantage Benefits Contracted for a minimum of 3 months and renewable up to the maximum of 12 months (contract term).
