Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor will be key in managing warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company standards.
Warehouse Operations: Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock levels.Assist in optimising warehouse layout and organisation for space utilisation. People Management: Lead, coach, and develop warehouse staff to maintain high-performance standards and a positive work environment.Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.Address any issues or conflicts within the team in a timely and effective mannerProvide leadership and guidance to warehouse staff, ensuring company policy and procedure adherence.Motivate the team to maintain high-performance standards and a positive work environment. Fleet Support: Assist in coordinating vehicle activities for transportation and delivery.Support the development and execution of effective route plans. Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.Participate in regular inspections and implement measures to promote a safe working environment. About you: Education and Experience: Diploma or relevant certification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.Minimum 3 -5 years' in a similar positionPrior experience in warehouse operations or a similar role preferred. Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent organisational and time management abilities.Basic knowledge of inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
