Key Responsibilities: Performing full plumbing and drainage designs in accordance with SANS 0252 and SANS 10400.
Perform design and BIM modelling, and/or CAD draughting.Project financial management: Generating project budgets, valuation certificates and cost reports.
Generating tender documents, measuring of Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and compiling tender documents and technical specifications.Attend site visits and meetings and performing any actions arising therefrom.
Manage project resourcing and profitabilityEfficiently engineer and model design using technical and 3D/BIM modeling skills.Develop line diagrams of the public health installation and coordinate with other disciplines for the initial space reservations.Modeling the public health installation in 3D Revit / BIM based on the diagrams and coordinated space reservations.Implement your knowledge based on functionality, mountability, accessibility and maintainability into the model to ensure that the contractor can build it according to our model without revising it.Work within a multidisciplinary team across borders.Health and Safety:Role model standards for SHEQ performance and behaviour consistent with the companys health, safety, environmental and quality vision and policies by influencing those around youContributing to the identification of SHEQ risks and driving processes to achieve Zero HarmEmbracing, displaying and promoting the company values and ensuring a safe working environment is maintained at all times Qualifications Must have a B Eng / BSc / BTech / NDip in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited UniversityMinimum of 3 years experience in Wet Services Design.
MEPF Building services experience highly advantageousCandidate engineer with ECSA.
Professionally registered with ECSA highly advantageousAutodesk software experience such as Revit and AutoCAD & ACC Software experienceSolid knowledge of SANS 0252 and SANS 10400 and supplemental knowledge of the equivalent CIBSE/BS/ASPE codes highly advantageous.
