Vice President – Business Development - Cape Town - Unibail-Rodamco-WestfieldWe seek a Vice President of Business Development & Innovation to disrupt the retail media & experiential industry with innovative go-to-market strategies, drive vertical sales, and generate new revenue channels.

This role will play a key lead role in developing and implementing a go-to-market strategy to drive powerful vertical sales and product roadmap narratives, strategies, and products to support the sales team to acquire new partnerships, monetize existing partnerships, and generate new revenue channels.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and drive vertical industry strategies and go-to-market narratives to showcase how advertisers in each vertical can partner with Westfield Rise to drive more impact and engagement for their brand.Develop thoughtful sponsorship opportunities for verticals to integrate into Westfield locations. Work with design and development teams to get ahead of development projects to factor in ideas/needs for Westfield Rise vertical opportunities.Integrate rich data and insights to support vertical narratives.Collaborate with the Sales team to better understand needs, opportunities, market feedback, etc. to build out the vertical narratives.Develop and manage roadmap of vertical narrative rollout and product development requests/needs/opportunities to ensure key milestones are hit on time.Look for ways to constantly be developing new capabilities and innovations to maximize the opportunities Westfield Rise launches in market.Support the Sales team with strategic RFP opportunities to maximize revenue growth and sell-through rates.Lead and manage a Director of Business Development and Innovation as a strategic partner.Requirements: Visionary Leader - You can rally others around a shared mindset, love celebrating the wins, and encourage diverse and bold thinking.Disruptor - You thrive on challenging the status quo and making it a reality.Customer-Centric - You understand clients' needs and consumers' needs and align opportunities to create a solution that clients and consumers cannot live without.Problem Solver - You have a demonstrable record of solving difficult problems using a mixture of wisdom, institutional knowledge, and analysis.Minimum of fifteen years' experience working in Marketing, Media, and Partnerships.Highly experienced in building go-to-market strategy and narratives, supporting sales organizations or marketing teams.Proven success driving innovation through business development, product innovation, and new partnerships to drive revenue.History of thriving in a rapidly changing environment.Reputation for making informed and sound decisions that propel the business forward.Able to leverage key industry relationships to uncover new product and revenue opportunities.Experience working with cross-functional teams to build new product solutions.Exceptional PowerPoint abilities.Outstanding written and oral presentation skills.Excellent analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.
