Valuations Actuarial Specialist

Qualifications to Succeed: Bachelors Degree in Actuarial Science or a related field. Nearly or newly qualified Actuary, with progress in completing normative skills toward Fellowship. Around 5 years of experience in actuarial valuations and/or reporting. SQL. Duties and Responsibilities: Valuation Leadership: Consolidate, review, and analyze actuarial valuation results under IFRS, SAM, and Embedded Value bases. Accuracy and Reasonability: Ensure liability and embedded value calculations align with parameters and provide actionable insights. Profit Analysis: Assist management in understanding the drivers of performance and business profitability. Problem Solving: Resolve valuation issues in collaboration with business units. Process Enhancement: Identify and implement improvements to optimize valuation workflows. Product Stewardship: Take ownership of assigned products, ensuring compliance and alignment with statutory expectations. Data Insights: Support periodic experience investigations, sensitivity testing, and generate impactful recommendations.
