Vacuum Pump Sales Rep (Boksburg, Jhb)

My client is ideally looking for a candidate that understands Vacuum Pumps and can both sell and provide customer service and do basic repairs on the pumps while out on a call.
Someone that has worked as a Field Technician with a good understanding of the technical aspect of the Vacuum Pumps, knowledge on how to repair and sort out any immediate issues and has the personality to sell, would be the ideal candidate we are looking for.Applicants need to ideally be Joburg based and willing to travel to Cape Town and Durban monthly to service customers.
Alternatively, the person could be based n Cape Town and travel to Joburg and Durban.Key Responsibilities:Support and grow current customer base through customer visits and frequent communication.Develop new sales and customer base through calling on vacuum users and promoting the company products as well as secondary vacuum products.Develop the service work, either internally if technically capable or through the clients service partners.Assist Internal Sales to specify and upsell enquiries.Contribute to the companies marketing efforts, both in social media and traditional marketing channels.RequirementsMinimum of Grade 12Minimum 3 years vacuum sales and/or service experience.Able to work by themselves, with a minimum of two weeks planning horizon.Valid drivers licenseMust have own transport (Company will cover fuel expenses)Willing to travel in SASpecific RequirementsGood face to face and telephonic communication skillsMS Outlook, MS Word and general computer skills
