Unit Manager - Labour Unit

The Unit Manager will oversee the delivery of high-quality nursing care by ensuring adherence to professional and ethical standards.
This role includes monitoring and ensuring that nursing services are provided effectively within a multidisciplinary quality assurance team.Additionally, the Unit Manager will be responsible for coordinating capacity building, mentoring, and training initiatives, while managing all departmental costs.Inherent RequirementsA relevant nursing qualification in Advanced Midwifery.Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Registered Nurse.Adherence to the SANC code of conduct for Registered Nurses and compliance with applicable healthcare legislation.A recognized management qualification.At least 2 years of experience as a Unit Manager in a private hospital setting.Proven leadership abilities and strong interpersonal skills.Experience in clinical leadership.Intermediate proficiency in computer skills.
