Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the healthcare unit, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards. Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of nursing and support staff to enhance service delivery. Monitor and improve the quality of patient care through effective leadership and management practices. Manage budgets, resources, and inventory to ensure efficient unit operations. Engage with patients and their families to address concerns and improve patient satisfaction. Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Collaborate with other departments to ensure continuity of care and efficient service delivery. Implement best practices and initiatives for process improvement within the unit. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or relevant field, with valid registration with the South African Nursing Council. A minimum of 5 years clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams. Proven ability to improve operational efficiency and enhance patient care. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
