SECTION A – POSITION DETAILS & PURPOSE
Job Title: Tyre Fitter
Department: Technical
Reports to: Tyre Foreman
Location: Alrode
Job Purpose:
The incumbent is responsible for inspecting vehicle tyres and the related components, checking for signs of damage and or wear and tear.
SECTION B – QUALIFICATION & LEARNINGS
Qualification

Matric
Minimum 3 years' industry experience
Valid driver's license

SECTION C – JOB OUTPUTS
Tyre Inspections

Inspect tyres for damage, such as nails, stones, and cracks in the rubber.
Ensure tyres are correctly inflated.
Report defects to Fleet Manager.
Replace/Rotate tyres as needed.
One tyre survey to be done on each vehicle per month.

Documentation

Ensure that the correct company documentation is completed and submitted to Fleet Manager daily.

Other

Assist with adhoc tasks as may be required from time to time.
