Training Manager (Contract Role)

Training Manager (Contract) required for an automotive company based in Gqeberha KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Develop and Deliver Training Programs : Design, implement, and update training content tailored to manufacturing needs, technical skills, and compliance requirements. Safety and Compliance Training : Ensure workforce training aligns with occupational health, safety standards, and South African labor laws. Skills Gap Analysis and Evaluation : Assess training needs, monitor progress, and update programs to align with manufacturing goals. Performance Tracking : Report on training success and performance improvements to senior management. Mentorship and Leadership : Lead and mentor training coordinators and external trainers to foster a learning culture. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Advanced certifications in Training & Development, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma are advantageous. EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE Experience : 5 years in manufacturing with at least 3 years in a training or management role. Technical Knowledge : Familiarity with manufacturing processes, equipment, and regulatory standards. PROVEN SKILLS Strong communication and facilitation skills. Proficiency in LMS, training software, and MS Office. Analytical skills for performance tracking and program evaluation.
