Inherent requirements:
• Must be a South African Citizen
• Must not have a criminal record
• Registered Assessor
• Facilitator and Assessor certificate
• Working at Heights experience
• 3 - 5 years experience in the lifting industry
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Safety qualification or studying towards will be advantageous
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Excellent communication skills (Both written and verbal)
• Fluent in English and isiZulu
• Computer literate (MS Office)
• Must have their own reliable transport and valid drivers license
• Must have a valid License / Certificate on the course they are credited with ie FORKLIFT License must be valid and with whom are they (accredited with QCTO,MERSTA ect.)
Duties and responsibilities:
• Assist with registration process and documentation
• Ensure that the appropriate training material, stationery and equipment is available and in excellent working order before the training session commences
• Create and nurture a positive learning environment that stimulates learning and motivates Delegates
• Facilitate programmes according to the KBC and SAQA facilitation best practice and self-prepared Programme Enhancement / Lesson Plan
• Conduct, evaluate and provide feedback on training needs assessments
• Ensure that delegates understand assessment questions and how to complete the assessments
• Review and report course evaluations
