Thungela focuses on exporting its thermal coal portfolio mainly to the Indian, Asian, Southeast Asian, Middle East and North African markets.Job DescriptionAs the Training Centre Coordinator, you will provide guidance and support to the Training team in relation to effective administration. You will execute and manage financial payments for training activities in alignment with budgetary constraints as well as liaising with the training providers for quotes and manage the non-order invoicing process.More of your responsibilities will include:Ensuring a timely processing of invoices, adherence to SLAs, and accurate financial trackingOverseeing printing facilities and IM-related issues, liaising with the applicable teams as requiredEnsuring proper handling of course records and attendees' data for governance audit requirementsMonitoring the cleaning team performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligationsManaging the contractors to maintain conducive training facilities and hygiene standardsRegularly updating notice boards to display essential center communications and safety, health, and environmental (SHE) bulletinsCoordinating audits to ensure the accuracy of information records and streamline file bookings and warehouse logistics for efficient operationsExecuting regular audits to verify the accuracy and availability of information records, including filing systems and SAPEnsuring organised course and event administration, facilitating smooth transitions and effective implementation while maintaining communication with stakeholdersSupporting the maintenance of data in the learning system and oversee training data inputs, ensuring functionality and optimisation for effective training programCoordinating logistical arrangements for training initiatives and activities, ensuring efficiency and satisfaction among stakeholdersSupporting the Shared Services ISO 9001 Compliance process by ensuring adherence to process flowsMaintaining efficient bursary management by verifying application documents, obtaining approvals, facilitating payments, and ensuring accurate record-keeping on the learning systemQualificationsGrade 12 or National Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4)Training & Development Practitioner certificate (NQF Level 5) or related certificationExperience & KnowledgeMinimum of 4 years' experience in learning management administrationMinimum of 2 years' experience in applicable learning systemExperience with report writing and data analysisAdditional InformationEmerging knowledge of mining and other relevant legislation applicable to Thungela incl.Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Act, No 28 of 2002Mine Health and Safety Act, No 19 of 1996Skills Development Act, No 97 of 1998Skills Development Levy Act, No 9 of 1999Broad-based Black Economic Empowerment Act, No 53 of 2013Protection of Personal Information Act, No 4 of 2013Emerging knowledge of the process to obtain and maintain SETA accreditation, with specific knowledge of the MQA and QCTO preferredEmerging knowledge of data analysis techniques and technology systemsEmerging knowledge of SAP functionalityBasic knowledge of the administration and management of a learning systemWho We AreWe're a company that promotes an environment that inspires innovation and where people have a shared sense of purpose.
