Trainee Buyer Communicate with suppliers, build and maintain relationships, request quotes, and follow up on deliveries.Assist with supplier evaluations.Support negotiations to secure the best prices, terms, and discounts for products.Analyze trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity to support the selection of products that align with market demand.Monitor stock levels, assist in forecasting product demand, and help avoid overstocking or stockouts.Analyze sales data, reports, and KPIs to support decision-making and identify areas for product or purchasing improvement.Prepare and place purchase orders, track orders, and update relevant systems as needed.Request and analyse quotations and cost breakdowns.Assist in ensuring that products meet quality standards, working closely with suppliers and quality assurance teams.Organize documentation, maintain records, prepare reports, and perform other administrative tasks as needed.Attend training sessions and participate in on-the-job learning to develop a comprehensive understanding of the buying process.
