This role involves supporting the buying and merchandising teams in ensuring that stock is optimally distributed across stores. The ideal candidate will be analytical, organized, and passionate about fashion, with a keen interest in the retail industry.Key Responsibilities:Assist in allocating stock to stores, ensuring the right product is in the right place at the right time.Analyse sales data and store performance to make informed decisions about stock replenishment and movement.Monitor inventory levels across stores and flag potential issues such as stock shortages or overstock situations.Collaborate with the buying, merchandising, and logistics teams to ensure seamless stock distribution.Produce regular reports on stock levels, store performance, and sales trends for the senior allocation team.Learn and use retail management software to track and allocate stock.Provide administrative support to the merchandising and buying teams as needed.Education ProfileMatric Certificate (Grade 12) is essential.A passion for fashion and an interest in the retail industry.Strong analytical and numerical skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.Good communication and teamwork skills.Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Key Attributes:Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.Eagerness to learn and grow in a retail planning role.Attention to detail and accuracy.Passion for fashion and retail.Ability to adapt to changing priorities.Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach.Application InstructionsPlease forward your CV to ******.
