Thermal Service Technician - Cape Town

Responsibilities Respond to service requests, diagnose issues, and perform maintenance on solar thermal, HVAC, and related equipment.
Conduct inspections, perform repairs and replacements, and adhere to preventive maintenance schedules.
Document work activities, provide technical support to clients, collaborate with other departments, and ensure safety compliance.
Maintain service vehicle, tools, and equipment, and assist with installation projects as needed.
Requirements Requirements National Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (advantage: technical certification in solar thermal/HVAC systems).
Proven experience as a Service Technician in solar thermal/HVAC maintenance.
Valid driver's license, strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication/interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with hydraulics, plumbing, and electrical systems used in hot water generation/space conditioning.
Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety/quality, ability to work independently and in a team.
