Business Segment: Insurance & Asset Management
Location: ZA, GP, Roodepoort, Ellis Street 4
To manage, oversee and have oversight over the team, whilst delivering a superior customer service by adhering to business procedures, audit requirements, regulatory requirements, legislative requirements and where necessary creating new processes within an operational environment, in terms of agreed human performance principles. To provide a leading/best practice service and administrative operation for SBIB product portfolio and report on all activities within the respective environment.
To use the technologies available to bring in and make the area more efficient and to ensure the area meets its targets, budgets, and KRA's.
Effective planning and monitoring of all operational requirements.Contribute to the overall achievement of the team and organisation goals and strategies.Ensure PI. Ops losses are minimised by creating awareness and carrying out rectification actions.Provide clear purpose and direction through daily/weekly connect sessions following the Connect Methodology.Adhere to the Standard Bank Performance management process and procedure.Ensure that all operational issues are handled immediately to minimise the risk and minimise escalations (before the sunset).Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Type of Qualification: FAIS – RE Exam (Mandatory); An NQF 4 or 5 Qualification, recognised by the FSCA;
FAIS Qualification – 150 credits in respective long-term categories.
Experience Required
At least 3 years Life Insurance claims assessing experience background; Life Insurance background is required; Life claims assessment, managing people and managing process.
