Tax Compliance Officer – Cape Town

Shift Pursuit has partnered with a medium-sized Accounting and Auditing Firm, and we are seeking the expertise of an experienced Tax Compliance Officer. As a Tax Compliance Officer, you will have a crucial role in ensuring accurate handling of Tax, VAT, and other SARS-related data for a diverse client base.

Requirements:

Registered Tax Practitioner Degree or diploma in finance and taxation Minimum 3 years of relevant tax compliance experience Knowledge of e-filing administration – Essential Computer literate Valid driver's license Key Performance Areas:

Complete income tax and provisional tax returns on e-filing based on financial statements and tax computations provided Deal with SARS queries relating to the Income Tax returns submitted Monitor submission of returns to ensure timeous finalisation of work Downloading SARS e-filing correspondence and drafting responses where required Any other SARS related task to ensure overall tax compliance Maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality in your work Effectively interpreting and applying theoretical knowledge Meeting deadlines and prioritising workload efficiently Compiling various SARS returns such as withholding tax returns where required Should you be interested in this position, and meet the requirements, email your CV to ******.
