Supply Chain Manager (Fast Food / Qsr)

Position description / overview:The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the overall planning, execution, and monitoring of the supply chain for the franchised restaurants in African countries according to designated categories. This includes managing the procurement, inventory, transportation, and distribution of all food and non-food items. The Supply Chain Manager also works closely with the Operations team to ensure that all restaurants have the supplies they need to operate efficiently and effectively. Minimum Requirements / Experience:Bachelor's degree: Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field5+ years of experience in a supply chain management role, preferably in the food and beverage industryExperience with procurement, inventory management, transportation, and distributionStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAble to travel within Africa Responsibilities:Implementing strategic plans for the supply chain, including procurement, inventory, transportation, and distribution.Manage the procurement of all food and non-food items, including negotiating contracts with suppliers and ensuring that all products meet the franchises high-quality standards.Oversee the inventory management system and ensure that all restaurants have the supplies they need to operate efficiently and effectively.Manage the transportation and distribution of all food and non-food items to franchise restaurants.Work closely with the Operations team to ensure that all supply chain processes are aligned with the company's overall business goals.Monitor the performance of the supply chain and identify areas for improvement.Develop and implement new supply chain technologies and processes.Develop and support local market supply chain teams.  Competencies / Skills: High attention to detailAble to work under pressureOperate strategically with a long-term viewStrong relationships building skillsStrong data / information processing skillsAble to notice trends and foresee potential problems to the business
