IntroductionWe currently have an opportunity for a Supply Chain Analyst based in Cape Town.
Purpose of the position:Analyze data and methods to predict and improve the company's delivery of products and services to its customer. To improve the efficiency of supply chain operations through data collection and analysis. The position requires excellent attention to detail, in-depth understanding of the delivery process and exceptional analytics skills. Interpersonal and problem-solving skills are also required to gather information from different departments to recommend ways of improving the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:Collect data on supply chain operations.Analyze data to identify areas of supply chain operations to improve efficiency.Develop and execute projects to enhance supply chain operations.Establish and maintain relationships with customers – internal and external.Measure supply chain performance and report to management.KPI reporting.Work with various stakeholders in the channel to enhance service delivery.Provide customers with the relevant reports, information and decision support to assist in optimizing their operations and to identify, test and implement cost saving initiatives (route planning & transport related).Minimum Requirements:B Eng Industrial or B Com Logistics/Supply ChainExcellent elocution in English and presentation capabilitiesMS Office (Excel – Intermediate/Advanced, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)Data Analysis capabilities in SQL environmentFinancial Acumen and High aptitude for research and investigation with good attention to detailProject Management ExperienceApproximately 3 years' experience in similar positionAble to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
