Introduction:The main purpose of the job is to ensure that all goods despatched are attended to efficiently and in accordance with company policies and procedures, service principles and operational processes requirements.Description:Effectively Co-ordinating customer deliveriesEffectively maintain administrative functionsInspire, motivate, guide, develop and manage, and lead employees in order to meet the store's objectives. Apply all company policies and procedures and best practice principles in order to maintain a harmonious labour environmentChecking forklifts are ready to operate by checking oil, water and mechanical portsMonitor and manage staff attendanceEnsuring customer driving into yard are attended toEnsure legal compliance with all legislation relating to the operation of the business and that appropriate action is taken in respect of all legal mattersReporting any discrepancies to management immediatelyMaintaining staff roster for weekends and public holidaysMaintain and manage Stock effectively and accuratelyPhysically checking stock and delivery vehicles leaving the yardTo uphold and promote the company values and cultureRequirements:Grade 122 years' experience in a similar roleTechnical qualification or DiplomaBasic computer skillsKnowledge of relevant systems
