Job Description To focus on leading and maturing the customer platform strategy for FirstRand businesses to transform and enable a single view of the customer on platform.
Are you someone who can: Draw up a budget aligned to tactical delivery plans to facilitate the provision of adequate financial resources. Manage expenditure planning and variances within approved budget parameters. Execute defined business strategy by translating it into the business operations. Communicate policy modification, objective achievement progress and critical success factors to impacted stakeholders. Ensure the development and implementation of multiple practices in alignment with operational policy and procedural frameworks. Identify interconnected problems, determine its impact and use to develop best fit alternatives, driving best practice solutions. Establish mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders that support thought leadership, innovative and integrated practice solutions. Be aware of, and responsive to local conditions. Influence the development of appropriate organisational structures, capacity and delivery systems. Maintain expert knowledge on relevant legislative amendments, industry best practices and provide advice to relevant stakeholders. Maintain up to date knowledge of local and global trends. Provide thought leadership and expertise. Provide input into, and implement, corporate governance, compliance, integrity and ethics policies in area of accountability to identify and manage risk exposure. Stay abreast of relevant industry risk management best practices and legislative amendments and suggest ways to leverage these to ensure continuous improvement. Create risk awareness and manage audit findings. Participate in Group risk forums where required and cascade relevant information through the team. Brainstorm, identify, implement and drive innovative best practice ideas within the organisation to ensure increased efficiencies. Create and participate in specialist communities of practice and represent the organisation at Group and industry level to share best practice insights and solutions. Drive strategic projects, change management and platform integration across operations. Leverage Group capability to exploit opportunities. Ensure and encourage adherence to an operational framework of policies and procedures. Lead the First ID Strategy across FirstRand businesses. Ensure execution of defined business strategy. Drive business benefit through platform impact assessment and value stream readiness. Engage with key stakeholders across the organisation to create awareness and buy-in of the strategy and their understanding of the impact thereof. Expedite new ways of working through effective engagement and collaboration between enterprise teams and the use of FirstID capabilities, factoring in data and design in all development. Drive and facilitate alignment between businesses across customer journey, architecture, and interface dimensions, ensuring platform readiness. Demonstrate leadership behaviour through personal involvement, commitment and dedication in support of organisational values. Manage team or teams in areas of responsibility in delivery against performance targets and achievement of wider human capital objectives. Develop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships across business areas and across the group. Education and Experience Grade 12 Degree/Diploma in engineering, technology, data and analytics 8-10+ years in the field and leadership role Exposure in interpreting data insights and translating into business and tech requirements You will have access to: Opportunities to network and collaborate.
