Drive the internal focus on transformative healthcare approaches and new business models in line with the Africa 10x strategy.This role will focus on African projects, although there is an expectation for some support for broader EMEA LATAM Regional projects with participation in the International Strategic Healthcare Consulting community.Key ResponsibilitiesKey ChallengesHealthcare Consulting SustainabilityManage the preparation of offers for strategic consultancy services towards customers, including projects spanning multiple countries, by providing briefs, reviewing drafts, or drafting proposals and providing input as required.Create mutually beneficial business partnerships with customers, 3rd party suppliers, and additional healthcare actors by identifying, researching, analyzing, and making recommendations and negotiating strategic alliances in collaboration with the Africa network.Drive new business by identifying, analyzing, and comparing alternative opportunities for entering new markets and adopting new strategic consulting services.Champion new and transformative approaches and new business models within the operating context of the Roche Africa Network and EMEA LATAM Region.Collaborate with Roche internal networks to support broad-reaching projects.Strategic Consultancy DeliveryAnalyze and improve healthcare policy and clinical processes, gathering related data for the development of business cases for decision-making from healthcare management.Participate in the development of strategies, contracts, and projects, providing specialized consulting services in support of customer and Pan-African stakeholder relationships.Create a shared vision with the customer team by supporting them with change management and implementation as required.Oversee multi-country project implementation by leading strategic consulting projects and coaching the customer team to achieve goals with tangible outcomes.Lead and coach cross-functional teams on customer projects within the Strategic Consulting Scope.Support Strategic Planning & Innovation projects by providing specialist Roche Healthcare Consulting methods, skills & experience.Monitor delivery by generating reports with different scenarios, analyzing impact on healthcare outcomes, finance, structure, resources, and articulating collaborative recommendations.Resolve complex customer problems by defining and facilitating implementation of solutions as required.Collaborate with other consulting resources to analyze and review options for optimizing Customer processes and patient flows.Support customer needs by conducting regular status and strategy meetings with senior management to understand their needs and link them to the organization's strategy.Drive the commercial success of assigned projects by integrating business acumen with project management principles.Stakeholder RelationsNavigate complex stakeholder management of multi-country projects, balancing operational needs with the client's political position.Maintain ongoing relationships with Health Authorities, Industry and Trade Associations, and stakeholders across Africa.Contribute meaningfully in the International RHC community by attending and contributing content to meetings and initiatives.Financial ManagementMonitor finance and ROI for Roche of strategic projects by understanding financial statements and reports.Key Work RelationshipsSubregion AfricaStrategic Planning & InnovationWho You Are as an Ideal CandidateQualifications & ExperienceNQF 7/8 in a Science related field or similar, plusQualification in RHC Strategic Consulting1 to 3 years in Strategic Thinking or Strategic Management roles.3-5 years experience in sales, marketing or similar.English required, French and/or Portuguese preferred.Must have knowledge of:Business DevelopmentRelevant Product KnowledgeCommercial KnowledgeIn the absence of relevant qualifications, experience in the relevant field and at the relevant level will be considered.Recommended skills & abilitiesStrong business acumen with the ability to integrate commercial objectives into project management processes.Expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.Excellent negotiation skills with experience in managing contracts and commercial terms.Strong leadership and communication skills to influence stakeholders and drive commercial success.Physical requirementsAbility to travel nationally and internationally.Note that a full job description is available upon request.Who we areAt Roche, more than 100,000 people across 100 countries are pushing back the frontiers of healthcare.
