They are dedicated to ensuring exceptional service and products to their customers, and they value efficient and effective inventory management as a key component of their operations.Job Summary: We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Stock Controller to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels, and maintaining efficient stockroom operations. This role is crucial in supporting the sales and operations teams by ensuring that stock availability meets customer demand.Key Responsibilities:Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records, including stock levels, transfers, and adjustments.Conduct regular stock counts and audits to ensure the accuracy of physical stock against records.Manage stock movements, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any discrepancies.Identify and address any stock-related issues, such as shortages, surpluses, or damaged goods.Implement and maintain effective stock control procedures to optimize stock management.Assist in the development and implementation of inventory management systems and processes.Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to forecast inventory needs and ensure stock availability.Prepare and submit regular reports on stock levels, movements, and discrepancies.Qualifications and Skills:Proven experience as a Stock Controller or in a similar inventory management role.Strong understanding of stock control procedures and inventory management systems.Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficient in MS Office and inventory management software.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
