Job Description Our client in Port Elizabeth is seeking a Stock Controller to oversee the inventory operations by ensuring that all materials, components and finished products are efficiently handled, maintained and stored correctly.
The Stock Controller will be responsible for the efficient receiving and dispatching of all stock, ensuring that the correct stock is on hand and picked accordingly for all projects. The responsibilities include: Oversee daily stock movements ensuring accurate inventory records Manage the stock level, placing orders with suppliers and ensuring timely deliveries to meet project deadlines Conduct regular stock audits Work with purchasing and project teams to ensure efficient stock management and availability of required materials Organize and maintain the warehouse, ensuring all stock is stored safely and correctly Identify opportunities for process improvement Provide reports to management regarding stock levels, orders and potential issues Requirements Requirements: Prior experience within the electrical field is advantageous Logistics/Supply Chain qualification will be advantageous Proven experience as a stock controller or similar role Strong understanding of inventory management systems and stock control processes Proven experience with stock counts/Cycle counts and maintaining inventory accuracy Proficient in Microsoft Excel and stock management systems Requirements Requirements: Prior experience within the electrical field is advantageous Logistics/Supply Chain qualification will be advantageous Proven experience as a stock controller or similar role Strong understanding of inventory management systems and stock control processes Proven experience with stock counts/Cycle counts and maintaining inventory accuracy Proficient in Microsoft Excel and stock management systems
