We are seeking a passionate and versatile Social Media Community Manager who will be responsible for managing and engaging with ikeja's online community across various social media platforms. This role involves creating a positive brand image, fostering community engagement, addressing customer queries, and supporting the Social Media Manager in executing on all social media strategies.We are looking for individuals who are self-directed, detail oriented, personable and comfortable with being visible and present on the ground – within the areas you represent.As part of this role, you will have to work closely with the marketing team. As such, your execution of this role will be critical to the implementation of ikeja's marketing strategy - making this an exciting and challenging opportunity to come on board and play an integral role in the overall performance of ikeja. If you are energised about the prospect of joining ikeja and eager to make a huge impact as a valuable player in our team, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:Community EngagementActively engage with followers and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across all social media platforms in a timely and professional manner.Foster a positive community environment and address any issues or concerns raised by followers and/or customers.Identify and nurture relationships with brand advocates and influencers.Content ManagementAssist the Social Media Manager in creating, curating, and scheduling engaging content (text, image, video) that aligns with Ikeja's brand voice and strategy.Monitor and report on content performance and community feedback to optimize future content.Customer SupportProvide support and answer customer queries related to products, services, and company information.Collaborate with the Customer Engagement team to resolve issues and ensure a seamless customer experience.Campaign SupportSupport the Social Media Manager in planning and executing social media campaigns, events, and initiatives.Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.Monitoring and ReportingMonitor social media trends, conversations, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for engagement and growth.Prepare regular reports on community engagement metrics and social media performance.Brand AdvocacyPromote and maintain a positive brand image by moderating discussions and managing negative feedback or comments.Encourage user-generated content and a high level of engagement in brand-related activities.Employ strategies to organically grow ikeja's following and reach.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.Experience:Minimum of 2 years of experience in social media management or community management.Proven experience in managing all social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok).A portfolio of evidence showcasing successful social media campaigns and community management.Experience with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) for creating and editing visual content.Previous work experience within or a proven understanding of the landscape of ikeja's market is advantageous.Skills and Competencies:Passionate about social media and community engagement.Highly responsive and proactive in addressing community needs.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with diverse audiences.Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining a high standard of quality.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, and trends.Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting tools.The ability to communicate clearly and timeously both with internal and external stakeholders.Effective decision-maker and creative problem solver.Benefits:The opportunity to grow both in your personal and professional capacity.Free ikeja internet at your home!
