Slitting Machine Operator

Duties

Operate Slitting Machine efficiently according to pre-defined production and waste targets.
To produce good product which are approved by quality department and meet the specified quality norms in the job's specification.
Identify the problems if arises in the machine, communicate the same to the shift in charge and get it rectified with minimum loss of productive time in coordination with maintenance team.
Responsible to maintain the machine health, following the set industrial safety, food safety and personal hygiene compliance in the work area while machine operation.
Accountable to maintain daily input, output reconciliation of consumed RM and produced printed material by end of his shift.
Responsible for following the rules set by plant HR for plant entry & exist, Disciplinary acts.
Maintain and encourage a clean and safe environment
Key Performance Indicators
Actual Production vs set target. To be monitored daily and monthly. Ensure Efficient & Rapid make ready.
Actual Process Waste vs set target. Ensure finished products exceeds customer expectations.
Internal/External quality complaint found in the produced product. To be monitored daily and monthly.
External quality complaint and rejection after sale within the set target norm.
Following the personal and industrial safety guidelines.
Following the QMS and Food Safety Compliance in the department while machine operation.
Learning and training of machine operation with help of assigned senior machine operator and under guidance of reporting manager within the set timeline. To be monitored monthly and quarterly basis.
Maintaining good relationship with his machine team and with his reporting manager.
Qualifications
Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering/ ITI, with 2-6 yrs of relevant industry experience.
Skills
Should have Knowledge to mechanical.
Should have knowledge of computer and skill to operate computer on basic applications like MS Office etc.
Should be Presentable.
Should have good and clear communication skill.
