Dis-Chem Pharmacies has an opportunity available for a Skills Development Administrator at our Head Office in Midrand. The primary responsibility will be to provide SDF administration and coordination support, aligning with processes, such as learnerships, skills programmes, bursaries, and BBBEE initiatives..

Minimum Requirements:
Essential:Grade 12 – Senior Certificate
National Diploma in Training and Development, Human Resource Management Development or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years' experience in learning and development or similar role

Advantageous:SDF Qualification
Prior experience in similar role.
Familiar with SETA regulations

Job Specification:
Skills Development Data Management:
Support the Skills Development Facilitator (SDF) with Learning & Development (L&D) reports and timeous submission of Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Report (ATR).
Assist SDF with extracting data from the Annual Training Reports and capturing data into relevant Sector for Education and Training Authority (SETA) data files and SETA Learner Management Information System (LMIS)
Ensure all learners are loaded and registered timeously on Wholesale and Retail/Health and Welfare and Service SETA LMIS system.
Consolidate compliance training requirement from the WSP as input into the Annual Learning Calendar.
Support SDF with collation of evidence in preparation for the Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) audit collaborating with the Admin Hub.
Ensure accurate recording of information, frequently maintain the records and accessibility. Capture Learner attendance and learnership completion rates.
Data management and accuracy involves compiling new information, verifying existing data, and generating reports.
Gather data and prepare information required for internal and external audits.
Monitor learner accreditation and certification status.
Keep up to date with industry changes BBBEE, Skills Development and Skills Development Levies legislation and regulations.

Record Keeping:
Ensure all learner agreements, bursary agreements, etc. are completed and signed in accordance with the standards set for BBBEE audit and the SETA's.
Support SDF with tax rebates claims and follow up with training provider on proof completion, accreditation status and certification.
Monitor if all information such as contracts, invoices, and correspondence are saved accordingly and available for audits.

Administration:
Tracking Learnership and Skills Programme progress
Take minutes during Skills Development forum meetings and submit for review and sign off.
Assist the SDF with Learnership recruitment process driving the internal administration, and SETA administration processes.
Log heat calls for learner termination, leave, change of banking details etc.
Collaborate with L&D Admin team members and ensure that all invoices and attendance registers are available for reporting purposes and are saved on the Department drive.
Provide administrative support to the SDF with the roll-out process of business compliance monitoring and statutory training.
Assist with adhoc administrative support required by the SDF.

Competencies
Essential:
Understanding of SETA landscape (SD, SAQA, SETA's, Learnerships and basic knowledge of the QCTO)
Knowledge of skills development legislation and regulations
English – Read, Write and speak well
Computer Skills – Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Ability and willingness to share and receive information
Addresses customer questions in a timely manner
Good communications skills
