Position Overview The role involves: Help project managers to plan work. Manage deliveries of construction materials. Organise staff work schedules. Check work is carried out safely. Complete records for site reports. Attend site management meetings. Evaluate performance and provide feedback. Resolve employee issues and disputes. Analyse and interpret engineering drawings, survey reports and other technical documentation to guide the construction process. Ensuring projects are implemented in the highest safety standards (ISO14001), environmental (ISO18001), quality (ISO9001), and electrical standards such as IEC, IEEE, BS, SANS, etc. Managing of project resources onsite. This includes but is not limited to contractors and general workers, tools, machinery, equipment, budget, etc. Manage the project schedule to ensure projects are completed within the agreed timelines. 13. Report project updates, milestones and potential risks to the project manager and key stakeholders on time. That is the submission of weekly and monthly reports to the Project Manager. Skills and Requirements 10 years of proven experience as a Site Manager / Site Supervisor in an HV Electrical Construction Industry, of which preference is given to candidates with PV construction experience. Demonstrated proficiency in managing and supervising construction and installation projects. Excellent communication skills, ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and a proactive problem-solving attitude. Fluent in spoken and written English Excellent time management and diagnostic skills Ability to make sound decisions under pressure Excellent computer skills Willing to work in the DR Congo Valid drivers license.
