Overview An Insurance Company is looking for a Short Term Insurance Administrator to join their team.Minimum Requirements3+ years experience within the industryNQF4 qualifications and creditsRE5 Exam passedClass of Business completed for STI Personal and Commercial linesCPD hours/points completed for last cycle (2022/2023)Advantageous Additional FactorsNQF5 passed for STIExperience on SANTAM online systemProduct specific training completed within the insurance industryJob DescriptionMake and receive calls to clientsComplete and follow through amendments to client policiesEvaluate cover to avoid under insuranceAdvise on claims under what section covered on policiesInvolvement with claims intermediary service (Client satisfied)Manage unpaid premiumsEvaluate rates on line-items and negotiate premiumsPolicy renewalsCompleteness and accuracy of Record-of-AdviceFit & Proper-, FAIS, FICA and Code of Conduct compliantGrow portfolio by up and cross sellingBuild relationships with clientsKey Competencies/SkillsStrong administrative skillsGood verbal and written communication skills at all levelsComputer literate in Microsoft office and internetSelf-discipline and time managementPunctualityMeet deadlines
