About the OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Head of Pricing to lead our short-term insurance pricing team in Southern Africa. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for pricing across three business divisions and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve our financial targets.
Key ResponsibilitiesPricing of existing and new lines of business, including analysing portfolio results and guiding pricing decisions.Leading a team of approximately 10 people and managing various stakeholders across the business.Developing and implementing pricing best practices, systems design, and procedures to achieve business goals.Ensuring consistent processes and standards across Actuarial units and governance policies.Predicting the outcome of alternative courses of action using statistical techniques and providing actuarial support to the business.RequirementsMinimum NQF Level 7 qualification in Actuarial Science or a related field.FASSA designation of the Actuarial Society of South Africa or an international equivalent.8-10 years of short-term insurance pricing experience, including modelling and deployment, and sound leadership experience.Underwriting and portfolio management experience with market practice acumen.
