Key Responsibilities:Sales ManagementLead and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.Implement effective sales strategies and promotions to drive revenue growth.Monitor sales performance, analyse trends and provide regular reports to senior management.Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained at all times.Administrative ManagementOversee daily administrative operations, including inventory management, supplier relations and store compliance.Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping, such as sales reports, financial documentation and inventory logs.Coordinate with finance for budgeting, invoicing and financial reporting.Ensure that all legal, regulatory and safety requirements are adhered to, particularly regarding firearm sales and hunting licenses.Team LeadershipTrain and manage a team of sales associates and administrative staff.Conduct performance evaluations, set goals and provide feedback to improve team efficiency.Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, accountability and a customer-first mindset.Customer RelationsBuild and maintain relationships with customers by providing product knowledge, answering inquiries and addressing concerns.Lead in-store demonstrations, events and customer education initiatives.Handle escalated customer service issues and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.Qualifications:Proven experience in retail management, ideally in an outdoor, sports or similar retail environment.Strong knowledge of firearms, hunting gear and outdoor equipment.Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills.Ability to manage administrative tasks, including inventory, sales trackingProficiency in sales reporting software and retail management systems.Education and Experience:At least 5+ years of retail management experience, with 2+ years in a senior or administrative role.Key Skills:Strong sales acumen with a focus on customer service.Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems and inventory managementProblem-solving and decision-making skills.
